SAPPC KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE VISIT TO GHANA

The SAPPC Conflict Early Warning System (CEWS) Reporters went for a bench marking visit to WANEP in Accra, Ghana from 7 – 9 September 2021. The main aim of the visit was to familiarise CSO networks in East and Southern Africa with data collection tools that can feed into their early warning analysis through training. Countries represented in SAPPC were Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Mozambique, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Also present early warning reporters from Easy Africa, representatives from African Union Commission (AUC), Common Market from Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and East African Community (EAC).
